Kl day 4

Now for the final day in KL.Think it was the most eventful of all the days actually..

We decided to try the Nyamuk wall, which literally means mosquito. Like the name says, theres plenty of them, and more so since the place is kinda in a jungle.
You have to walk a short distance through a small settlement, great view of the whole wall from here. We were headed to the base through a path between 2 houses.

Theres plenty of routes here, and if not for the mosquitoes and the short hike up, would be comparable to damai. Lucky my cous brought a tube of saf repellant (one of the more useful items from there) and i used tissue paper to make a mosquito coil. I must say that thing is really strong, and only doesnt work in lim chu kang. The mosquitoes there are like in "god mode"

So off began climbing in proper. Most of the photos I took were from the wall itself, quite cool but had to be careful not to drop the camera, while holding on to the wall. The day was pretty relaxed, as most of us were tired from the 2 previous days climbing. At one point 2 of us even walked out to buy milo from the shops. Carrying the packets back through the jungle trail.

And the view from up there

And down below

And look at the puny thing that holds your life to the wall

Well till i get more pics from the others, this is it for now..

We all made our way back to the road to catch a cab back to the hostel. And what has to happen? As im approaching a cab in the middle of the road, on a red light, a motorbike that squeezed in between cars rammed right into me. Im not sure how fast it was going, but the wind got knocked out. And in a instant, the bike was in front, and i on the floor. Interestingly , I got up immediately, headed to the driver, and was trying to babble sorry are you ok or something. He was quite pissed that his mirror was dented, but got up and drove away. Later in the cab back, I realised only my ankle was sprained. Praise the Lord. Not a SINGLE other scratch.truly amazing..
Went back washed up, and ate a quick dinner. We said our goodbyes to Erin, who was staying on to fly to bali the next day. The rest of us were all headed to sg.
The bus journey back was one of reflection..God's protection throughout the trip, the evenings incident in particular. All the climbing..What started out as a trip i didnt forsee as enjoyable, was one of the best ive had.
