The aforementioned YTF with soya bean milk. And this is zz promoting it. I dont usually eat ytf so im not sure how it was. Guessing its probably good though from the awards featured. Looks a bit too healthy for me though..haha..
I ordered muichai pork rib noodle.albeit much oilier. But it was quite ordinary and was better only with chilli.
Now on to slightly more expensive fare at Waraku Japanese restaurant. So far I usually go with the army guys. This time was after tennis at my place..
Here we have "Rindo". One of my favourites, cold soba, udon, and tonkatsu egg rice.
This one was ordered by aloysius. Think it was sukiyaki or something. The highlight is the sauce the beef is cooked in. Probably a miso base. Excellent stuff..
The midnight rose expedition.
Last last week was my cousin Dorothea's wedding, and after it there remained plenty of white roses. So my other cousin Sharon, the really fun person that she is, decided to collect them. To do what? With a few cousin's help, we were all going to deliver them to her office. Shes leaving for holiday and wanted to bring some cheer to the dull, industrial work environment her office seems to be.
All of us loaded into her car, laps brimming with roses. Since there was so much excess, we decided to be crazy and give roses to passing cars. After waving roses to several cars, only one person on a motorbike took one. I wonder what he must be thinking. It kinda reminded me of the "free hugs" drive on kishan's blog. I think singapore could use more of such cheer bringing.
The very dull, dimly lit and deserted carpark of an industrial park in yishun. Actually the place is quite windy and in some strange sense romantic. Theres a very nice view from up there.
Now because no one in their right mind comes to such a place at this unearthly hour, we snuck in by the fire escape along the edge of the building.
And heres sharon wrapping roses with wet tissue.
A white rose for every desk
Il bet it lets everyone feel so blessed.
At times a kind gesture we could all use After the long days of work abuse.
What a cousin I do know. The wonderful ways her care she shows.
