Sustinence and happenings.

Ah hasnt God blessed us with so much food upon this earth..

Dinner at botak jones, clementi.

Heres the botak burger, and some sausage thing. The sausage was pretty good for the price of 8 dollars. And i could just barely finish it. According to xin xian though, his burger was quite dry and too well done. Been hearing bad stuff about that burger lately from online reviews. Strange to think that its one of their flagship items.

Now onto sinful snack food. Donuts to be exact. My cousin brought back some from the UK. And they were none other than the legendary Krispy Kreme! Ah they really were as good as talked about, though so sweet that several of them could probably give you diabetes. Then there was donut factory, courtesy of our OGls. While paling in comparison to KK's, donut factory can still stand its ground of course in comparison to what one can get in the local donut scene.

Here are the round rings of gastromic and sweetened glory :

Up next we have, food from the riverside indonesian restaurant. The branch at PS that is. Queues are perpetually long at this stall. Try it and you;ll see why. Their signature item would be the grilled chicken. There are other items like sotong, fish etc. Most come with a sweet black sauce that is what makes this stall such a hit.

And finally, what could be better than home cooked food. National day at my grandmother's house. My aunt and grandma are excellent cooks. There's always nothing short of a feast every time the family gathers there. So here we have spaghetti, gyoza, salad and mee goreng.

Ok enough of food for a bit. Here are some lousy pics of the Festival of Praise last sunday. I have to get a better handphone camera soon. Im becoming quite the photo whore. FOP 2007 was the first one ive attended. Unfortunately my favourite bands were not the one's performing. Ie Hillsong, Casting crowns. But anyway we had Delirious, and Don Moen perform.Delirious is quite rock orientated, and I guess that particular night i wasnt feeling particularly in the mood for loud worship, possibly due to anxiety of having orientation the next day. Nonetheless, God's presence was throughout, and it was a great experience seeing a stadium full of believer's exalting the Most high through the music.

And on a more random note, heres the Worlds Scariest Roller Coaster! Ive always been fascinated by these mechanial contraptions that instill fear in its rider. They're works of art and provider's of thrill all rolled into one. Genting's corkscrew can bite the dust.

Thats it for today. Next one will be on orientation. Looks like im gonna have some trouble finishing that list i wrote some posts back.
